Our Origins and Foundations
Founded in 2007 by Sister Florine and Rev. Anton Rajamani, Gethsemane College emerged under the guiding vision of the Gethsemane Gospel Church. Nestled in the heart of Wattala, Sri Lanka, our institution was established as a Christian school with a mission to lead every child toward wholeness and wellness for the glory of God.

Our strength lies in the committed and experienced leadership, the adoption of the Cambridge syllabus, and offering education from LKG to Advanced level in both Local and London streams.

Current Challenges
In Sri Lanka's predominantly Buddhist landscape, Christians often face challenges in accessing education. Compounded by recent economic and political crises, we face financial challenges that impact our ability to deliver optimal education. Our current facility is outdated and restrictive, which hampers the learning environment.
Strategic Goals
Relocate and build new facilities:
Move to an advanced facility with upgraded classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and computer rooms to create better learning spaces.
Integrate technology:
Equip students with essential technological skills for the digital age.
Offer scholarships:
Establish a scholarship fund to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Prioritize continuous professional development for our faculty to elevate the standard of education.
